What was the most special memory of the day?

To pick one memory of such a memory filled day is a difficult one. There were so many awesome moments. The beat was probably when my husband had to pick me up and throw me over his shoulder where we were having pictures to climb over the rocks into the middle of the river.

Tell us about your proposal:

We were stating in a b&b in White River for the week while I was looking for a place for us to live and mu husband started his new job. One evening I was busy cutting up some beans for a salad and he asked me to turn around. There he was, to my utter surprise, down on one knee.

Describe your bridal style. How did you want to look on your wedding day? Tell us about your Olivelli dress shopping experience.

I never thought I would wear a tight form fitted dress. I am a bit of a hippie by nature and always thought I would have a flowy pixy style dress. On the excellent guidance of Yvonne, she took on look at me and started bringing out dresses. She totally hit the nail on the head and the dress I picked was literally the 2nd dress I tried on -and believe me I tried on alot.

In your own words, tell us more about your wedding. What was your theme and colours? How did you make your wedding personal to your love story?

Our wedding was so relaxed and so vibey. We had it out in Magoebaskloof in the forests. We had craft beer and a gin bar, relaxed gorgeous food and a massive party. Our colors were maroon. Just a touch here and there. My bridesmaids were in maroon and we had a few maroon flowers on the tables and in my bouquet.
